:Emotions: Quand les sciences affectives se laissent photographier

Automne 2015 à automne 2016. Une quinzaine d’étudiants passionnés par la photographie plongent au sein du Campus Biotech et se laissent guider par les chercheurs du Centre interfacultaire en sciences affectives à la découverte des études scientifiques menées à l’intérieur des laboratoires. Les photographes amateurs mènent alors leur propre recherche sur les émotions afin de les immortaliser. L’exposition retrace cette rencontre entre la photographie et la recherche, et permet au visiteur d’effectuer un parcours déroutant où chercheurs et étudiants-photographes thématisent notre rapport aux émotions.

Le service de la culture de la commune de Meyrin a présenté l’exposition « Emotions, une histoire naturelle », fruit d'une collaboration scientifique entre le Museum d'histoire naturelle de Neuchâtel et le Centre Interfacultaire en Sciences Affectives de l'Université de Genève.
Emotions…a natural history - Muséum d’histoire naturelle de Neuchâtel

The NCCR Affective Sciences has developed, in close collaboration with the Muséum d’histoire naturelle de Neuchâtel, a major exhibition entitled “Emotions…naturally”. Workshops, conferences and public events have been planned throughout the year.
Philippe Halsman, Etonnez-moi - Musée de l’Elysée

The Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne invited, on the occasion of the exhibition on “Philippe Halsman, Astonish me!” the NCCR Affective Sciences to review his work through the prism of emotion. This collaboration led to a publication and a conference/guided tour.

Nightlife event - California Academy of Sciences of San Francisco

In collaboration with swissnex San Francisco, the NCCR Affective Sciences presented a special Nightlife event called “Feel the Music” at the California Academy of Sciences of San Francisco. The program included demonstrations and talks by several researchers from the NCCR Affective Sciences.
Franck Schramm - Musée de l’Elysée

The NCCR Affective Sciences participated in the Frank Schramm exhibition set up by the Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne. NCCR researchers participated in an exhibition catalog and led guided tours during “La Nuit des Musées”.

NCCR Affective Sciences co-organized the exhibition with the Muséum d’histoire naturelle de la Ville de Genève. Workshops were organized for children.
Stigmates – International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum

NCCR Affective Sciences participated in this exhibition on human suffering produced by the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum. Lectures were given in the framework of the exhibition Stigmates.
Emotions des collections, collections d’émotions - Conservatoire et Jardin botaniques de la Ville de Genève
May 1 – October 4, 2009
This exhibition was produced by the Conservatoire et Jardin botaniques de la Ville de Genève. For each of the 18 particular collections of plants and flowers, the NCCR Affective Sciences provided an explanation on one emotion linked with the collection – e.g. fear and carnivous plants. Workshops were organized in the framework of the exhibition for the public.
